Three Incredible Creative Podcasts to Make You a Better Graphic Designer

We all love to listen to a good podcast. Because they come in all shapes and sizes, there’s bound to be something out there that you love. Whether you want comedic, educational, or entertaining, there are plenty of podcasts that are perfect for you.

If you’re a graphic designer looking to learn more about the industry, develop your skills, or want to hear other like-minded people chat about design, you’ve come to the right place.

There are plenty of incredible graphic design-related podcasts out there, but I fear listing them all here would leave you confused as to which one will give you the most value and insight. And let’s face it, nobody wants to spend an hour listening through an episode only to discover you haven’t learnt anything.

That’s why I decided to list the three main graphic design podcasts that I listen to on a regular basis. Check them out below!

Design Matters

Debbi Millman’s long-running audio podcast features some iconic names from the graphic design industry, including Beeple, Seth Godin, Milton Glaser, Steven Heller, and Tim Brown.

The Design Matter podcast contains thought-provoking discussions between Millman and the plethora of industry-leading guests, offering plenty of insight into the industry and life as a designer.

Adventures in Design

Hosted by Mark Brickey, Adventures in Design is branded as the “sometimes educational, sometimes off-topic” daily talk show for creatives.

Featuring plenty of informative topics involving issues and challenges faced by everyday graphic designers. Wherever you’re at in your design career, you’ll find this podcast super entertaining!

Greyscale Gorilla Podcast

If you’ve ever looked up something relating to graphic design, specifically tools like Cinema 4D and Adobe After Effects, there’s a good chance that you’ll have made your way, at some point, to the Greyscale Gorilla website.

As an expert in motion design, Nick takes on questions via the live podcast chat, and shares valuable insights into this particular arm of the design industry. Perfect for both experienced experts and keen amateurs of motion design!

Conclusion

Hopefully, those three podcasts will be able to provide you with plenty of insight into the different areas of the graphic design industry!

Please do let me know if you have any other podcasts that you think deserve a place on this list!
